Short Description

O-Z/Gedney nonmetallic insulating bushings are used to protect wires and cables at entry and exit of threaded rigid conduit and IMC. O-Z/Gedney also has a plug to be used with metallic or nonmetallic bushings to prevent the entry of dirt or dust.

  • O-Z/Gedney malleable iron bushings incorporate a thermoplastic insulator and an aluminum lay in lug grounding lug
  • Insulating liner material is UL V-O rated (self extinguishing)
  • The plastic liner is tough, it won™t chip, crack, swell or shrink, resists corrosion, chemicals and temperature extremes
  • Surface friction is so low that wires can be pulled with virtually no abrasion on the cable insulation
  • Set screw provided with each cutting locks bushing in any desired position
  • UL listed for use with copper or aluminum grounding conductors
  • Lugs not sold separately
  • Aluminum lug, steel clamping screw and set screws
  • Zinc plated clamping screw and set screws, tin plated lug finish
