After recently upgrading our website to operate as a fully functional e-commerce platform, State Electric was ranked fifth in the top 10 e-commerce sites among electrical distributors in an analysis done by Apruve Inc., an e-commerce credit services company. The ranking was based on user experience, marketing, and features of the website.

According to Apruve’s recent study, not many small electrical distributors have taken this step. Their data showed that only 42% of electrical distributors have an e-commerce site. The study also stated, however, that 93% of business to business consumers prefer to buy online. With this data in mind, it has been important for State Electric Supply to provide the opportunity for customers to shop using a platform that best suits their needs.
