State Electric Supply Co. would like to take this time to personally thank you for your business and the relationships that we have built over many years.  We would like to provide an update on what we are doing to support our customers during this Coronavirus (COVID-19) event. Our goal is to do everything we can to meet your product and service needs, while keeping you and our employees safe.

We are currently monitoring the COVID-19 situation through all local, state, and federal governments and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).  Some of the areas we are focusing on are listed below:

We have implemented “COVID-19 Education, Prevention and Management Plan” across our organization. In accordance with CDC guidelines, this includes health and safety protocols.

  • We have implemented a more rigorous cleaning and disinfecting program at our facilities.
  • We have issued a travel policy that restricts all air travel and meetings with large groups, per CDC guidelines.
  • We are utilizing Teleconferencing and Videoconferencing when possible, limiting face to face meetings with our suppliers.
  • We have initiated internal system controls that will increase inventories on items identified with possible supply chain interruption. The inventories on these items are being built as a reserve at this time. If there is risk of supply interruption, we are seeking alternatives that meet our stringent quality requirements.
  • Most importantly we are sensitive to our customers’ needs and understand the policies and procedures that you have put into place and we will follow them. Our sales team will remain in contact via non-direct methods such as phone, email and digital conference formats.

We have a dedicated team coordinating our response to this difficult challenge. We will continue to provide updates as this issue moves forward. We are committed to supporting you as we manage this challenge together.
