Short Description

Eaton’s Bussmann® series Limitron fuses provide short circuit protection that is, on average, 10X faster than basic circuit breakers or fuses*. These current-limiting UL® and CSA Listed fuses are available in Class CC, J, R, and T - all with a 200 kA interrupting rating.

Features

  • Provides a high degree of short circuit current- limitation(component protection)
  • Fast-acting fuse helps prevent equipment damage caused by short circuit events
  • Incorporates Class R rejection feature. Can be inserted in non-rejection type fuse holders to physically and electrically replace Fast-Acting Class H, K1, K5, RK5, and other Fast-Acting fuses
  • Ideal for critical industrial or commercial applications that have specific current limitation requirements
  • Commonly used to protect circuit breakers with lower interrupting ratings
  • If used in circuits with surge currents (motors, etc.) must be sized to prevent unwanted opening
  • It is recommended to use an ultimate protection low peak LPS-RK time-delay use for inductive load applications
  • 200 kA at 600 VAC RMS symmetrical
