IDC Select® variable pitch sheaves 1VL and 1 and 2VP designs are precision machined from 30 gray cast iron, statically balanced, painted with a baked enamel finish and individually packaged.

  • Statically balanced
  • Cast iron sheaves should not exceed 6500 fpm rim speed
  • Special or dynamic balancing should be considered when speeds exceed 5000 fpm
  • 2.7 to 3.5 in Dia pitch 3L/2.8 to 3.8 in Dia pitch 4L(A)/3.1 to 4.1 in Dia pitch 5L(B)
  • 5/8 to 1 in W face
