Short Description

Leviton's Category 5 connector is designed for use with all QuickPort® compatible products. 8-position, 8-conductor Category 5 QuickPort® snap-in connectors feature dual-color-coded wiring labels with both T568A and T568B wiring patterns, for dual flexibility in a single connector, as well as fast, accurate 110 termination of station wiring.

  • Use in any QuickPort® connector housing to support voice-grade UTP applications in surface-mount, flush-mount, or modular furniture environments
  • Can be used in conjunction with other QuickPort® snap-in modules for voice/data and video applications over UTP, coax, and fiber
  • For port identification, use different colored connectors for each application or pre-printed port designation labels
  • Connector body is high-impact, fire-retardant plastic rated UL94V-0
  • Connector 110 IDC contacts are solder-plated phosphor bronze
  • 50 micro-inches thick gold-plated contact surface
  • 100 micro-inches thick nickel-plated contact sub-surface
  • 110 punchdown termination
